Simon Huggill standing for the Town Council by election

Simon Huggill has been selected by Darwen Liberal Democrats to fight one of the two seats at the by-election for Darwen Town Council on 4 May.

Simon is a former Borough and Town Councillor and lives in Marsh House. He is well known for campaigning for the rights of ordinary citizens. Recently he has been helping local residents of Clough St to get the Environment Agency to improve fllod defences. Simon helped to start Blackburn with Darwen's Civic Voice.
