Nick Clegg visits East Lancs with plans to revitalise our area.
Liberal Democrat Leader, Nick Clegg MP visited East Lancashire on Thursday to launch the Liberal Democrats policy to revitalise our traditional industrial areas such as East Lancashire,
He visited Liberal Democrat run Burnley.
During his visit he said, "Top Civil Servants with responsibility for manufacturing and wider industrial policies could be moved to Northern towns like Burnley to oversee a major infrastructure investment programme to bring empty homes back into use , to restore vital transport links and to develop green technology, under Liberal Democrat plans to revitalise Britain's industrial heartlands"
