Liberal Democrats denied place on Executive Board

The ruling Labour Group again denied the Liberal Democrat Group a place on Blackburn with Darwen's Executive Board. Despite have 9 seats on the Council they are not allowed to sit on the body that makes most of the key decisions.

Liberal Democrat Leader, Cllr. David Foster said,"The Labour Group have already expanded the Executive Board by putting 3 young people on the Board as observers, we were asking for the same rights, but Labour have denied us a voice when key decisions are being made. Are they frightened of criticism?"
