Labour leadership fail to oppose Welfare cuts

Lib Dems blocked Tory cuts in Government and were attacked by Labour. Last night Lib Dems voted against Tory cuts but the Labour leadership sat on their hands and failed to vote against the Welfare Bill that will cut benefits to some of our hard working families.

Look at what one of the favourites to be leader of the Labour Party said

"Tonight I am firing the starting gun on Labour's opposition to this Bill. I I am elected Leader in September, I am determined that Labour will fight this regressive Billword by word and line by line." This is from Andy Burnham's Facebook page.

Not opposing the Bill is a funny way of starting opposition to the Bill...
