Commneting on the report local Whitehall councilor, David Foster said, "I am disappointed with the report, we have said all along that the nature of Bury Fold Lane means that it is unsuitable for this number of houses. The revised application plans to widen the road is one place but doeas not solve the problem on other sections of the road."

The meeting is at Darwen Aldridge Academy on Thursday 28 July starting at 6:30 pm and is open to the public.
