Adam Waller-Slack - Hyndburn
Adam was born in Chesterfield, and grew up in Scunthorpe. He studied medicine at the University of Leeds and moved to the North West in 2012 to complete training in anaesthetics. He now lives locally in Oswaldtwistle with his wife Beth and two cats, and works as a Consultant Anaesthetist.
Adams main focus as a campaigner is the NHS and he is a strong supporter of the Lib Dems priority to increase funding, in particular for mental health. Adam's local priorities include using the Lib Dems extra money for youth services to improve youth provision in Accrington, and campaigning for improvements to bus and rail services in the borough. On a national level, Adam will campaign to stop Brexit to prevent permanent harm to our economy and living standards, and to protect our worker's right and our NHS.
